ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways minister Khawaja Saad Rafique criticized Pakistan Tehreeke Insaf (PTI) chairman Imr
an Khan for acting like a teenager adding that he should resign from party leadership and investigations should be conducted against him following MNA Ayesha Gulalai’s allegations of harassment.
Rafique, talking to reporters in the nation’s capital said that Khan, who continuously asks others to appear b
efore courts and demands resignations should lead by example and present himself for investigation.

efore the courts. Now that there are such serious allegations against him, he should reign as party chief and prove his innocence just like he demands others to do so,” he said.
The minister also said that party leaders’ reputation is like that of a father figure, and alleged Khan of carrying too casual an attitude for a political leader.

an Khan needs to realise that he is an adult and stop being so stubborn,” Rafique said.
The minister also denied allegations against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) of teaming up with Gulalai to initiate a smear campaign against the PTI chief.
“;The whole story about PML-N leader Ameer Muqam calling up Gulalai and offering her a place in the party is fabricated,”
; the PML-N leader said.
Gulalai, who earlier this week leveled allegations against Imran of sending her lewd texts and not respecting female members of PTI, has been served a legal notice by the party,
telling her to prove her harassment allegations against Khan or apologise, otherwise she would be sued for Rs30 million.
