said that he is foreseeing the elimination of “co
rrupt families” from country’s political scene. “T

ile addressing a press conference in Lahore.
The minister, without naming anyone,
said that rampant corruption has harmed every institution of the country leaving next to nothing in the national treasury.
“They (the co
rrupt politicians) have devoured everything, making it difficult for Imran Khan to deliver (on his promises) but he will deliver,”
said Rasheed.
Talking about recent PM Khan’s visit of China, Rasheed
said that the Pakistan’s image has seen a boost after Imran Khan’s China visit. The minister made several announcements, including the inauguration of Hyderabad Expres
s and filling of 10,000 vacancies in Railways. He told the media that Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the Hyderabad Express, a shuttle train running between Karachi and Hyderabad on November 15. The minister announced his plan to fill 10, 000 vacancies in railway
s and maintained that locals will be preferred for the jobs.
Earlier on November 1, Sheikh Rasheed during a meeting with IMF delegation had
said that government was striving hard for the revival of railways. To a question on public private partnership (PPP), he
said that Pakistan Railways is open to PPP.
